Over the past decade and a half in Bangladesh, the killings of freethinking writers, online activists, and bloggers have been a subject of intense discussion. Freethinkers and bloggers such as Avijit Roy, Rajib Haider, Ananta Bijoy Das, and Niloy Neel were brutally hacked to death with sharp weapons, ostensibly for offending religious sentiments. The vast majority of these murders were perpetrated by Muslim extremists and fundamentalists.<\/p>\n
\nYet, what is the true nature of the Islam, the Quran, and the Prophet Muhammad\u2014in whose name so many innocent rationalists, freethinkers, and progressives were killed for alleged acts of blasphemy?
\nWhat kind of frenzy drives Muslims to become extremists and kill ordinary people solely in the name of religion?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\nLet us first attempt to discuss the Quran, the holy book of Muslims. Throughout the Quran, one observes the personal life of Prophet Muhammad\u2014a narrative featuring multiple wives, sexual encounters, and the Prophet\u2019s lustful pursuit of sexual gratification with his wives and concubines. It includes accounts of the rape of female captives taken as spoils of war\u2014against their will\u2014and the story of the Prophet engaging in sexual relations with the six-year-old child Aisha, sanctioned by a god who supposedly lacks physical form.<\/p>\n
\nTo me, this Quran resembles a piece of cheap erotica\u2014akin to a story about illicit affairs with a neighbor\u2019s wife or aunt\u2014acting as a sexual stimulant like Viagra. Reading it reveals a dark, sexually charged saga in the life of the “false prophet” Muhammad\u2014a man who claimed to receive revelations from the angel Gabriel while engaging in acts such as adultery, the sexual exploitation of a child (reminiscent of the Epstein scandal), and even having sexual intercourse with his own son\u2019s beautiful wife after finding her alone in the dead of night. It is a narrative that would arouse sexual desire in any man.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
It is precisely by reading this Quran that incidents of child sodomy are occurring in the madrasas of Bangladesh today. Religious clerics, believing it to be the Prophet’s command, read the Quran, become sexually aroused, and then press their erect penises against the anuses of underage boys, thereby fulfilling the instructions supposedly laid down by the Prophet. Rape cannot be prevented by any means. The phallus of religion is rising, directed towards holy Mecca.<\/p>\n
In the name of this religion\u2014Islam\u2014so-called fundamentalists, radicals, and extremists are killing people. They do so solely to reach Paradise and engage in group sex with the alleged seventy-two *Houris*\u2014tales of lust and sexuality that the hypocritical Prophet Muhammad himself concocted in the Quran. It is because of this very Quran that the entire nation of Bangladesh is being dragged into darkness in the name of religion. Such a Quran must be cast aside.<\/p>\n
The waste of paper involved in printing this sexually arousing book day after day must stop. The nation would benefit more if that paper were used to make toilet tissue instead of printing the Quran.
